Historic towns and villages
25 km from Carassai is one of the most famous and important seaside resorts, San Benedetto del Tronto. It has a beautiful boulevard with palm trees and is very popular with the Italians.

The whole of Italy is of course one big historical cultural whole. The Marches are certainly not excluded. The larger cities such as: Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Pescara are all within easy driving distance of our Agriturismo.
Of course there are also many picturesque villages in the immediate vicinity which are worth visiting. Below a small selection of the possibilities, but these are endless.
Grottamare is just under 25 km from Carassai. This place is smaller than San Benedetto but has a beautiful boulevard with pine trees to the beach. In the evening you will see many stalls on the boulevard. A beautiful old village. At first it doesn't seem all that exciting but once in the center it is beautiful, idyllic. In the evening it is beautifully lit and it starts to live.
Pedaso
Here is the artists' promenade, a beautiful walk along the sea with spectacular views over the bay. In addition, the path is illuminated and looks beautiful at night. There are beautiful beaches where you can swim.
Ripatransone
This very famous town / village is located 15 km from Carassai. Ripatransone has many old buildings, but the main attraction is, according to the Italians, 'the narrowest' street in the world.
